A whom-pah is a two-way transportation facility that allows for immediate teleportation between fixed points located on Rubi-Ka's surface and in Jobe. Whom-pahs are present in most major cities and outposts.
In essence, the whom-pah system breaks an individual down at the cellular level, transporting them instantly to another location on-planet, and rebuilding their body. Urban myths say the name is derived from the sound the whom-pah makes.
The whom-pah system was designed by Omni-Com and is maintained by Omni-Trans.
