From Anarchy Online Knowledge Base

Hi Banaticus, just wanted to say hello! I work in marketing for Wikia and will be spending some time in the next few months helping the various gaming wikis grow and attract more readers and contributors (things like spotlights, reaching out to the game developers and fan forums, etc). I know you are just getting this wiki up and running, but let me know if you have any ideas for how I can help get more people aware of this wiki. angies (talk) 22:41, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

As with any game, the best way is to talk about it in game and on the various official/non-official forums. If you don't play the game and aren't a member of any Anarchy Online forums, you likely won't be able to reach anyone who'd be interested in this wiki. Banaticus 17:35, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

The great thing about a wiki is, even if you censor or completely ignore text, it's still in the history.

I'm for a public vote to take the entire ao wiki here at wikia down as it's obsolete and outdated. The actual wiki the community uses and derived from the same base as this wiki is located at: http://wiki.aodevs.com/ -- 28-5-2007

Well you can say that about any subject for any website... why have two sites about Star Wars? let alone the hundreds of thousands that there probably are :) This wiki is a good one, and one that has great potential, and that there is another wiki out there doesn't change that. Let this one grow, and see where it leads. It's a good project, and there is certainly no reason to remove good pages! Could you please stop the childish behavior of removing posts? The posts can be seen in the history eitherway.

Anyways, I'm not going to continue discussing this with you as you're clearly unreasonable. You can keep up your childish act and censor this message and everyone will see your true nature. The community has already chosen for aodevs (look at the forum responses from users (1 2 3) and the recent changes log on aodevs) and so far all you've done is spam the edit log with a bot that didn't fix any of the outstanding issues. Fact is, this wiki is unable to display the imported pages correctly and with weeks of time to fix it, they're still broken. --31-05-2007

I will not continue to display them here for anyone who happens to wlak by. If you wish to lie about something, there are many other pages in this wiki for you to post such things on. Grow up and stop vandalizing my personal user talk page. Perhaps you should think about being grown up enough to not hide behind an IP address. Sure flame so more and ignore all issues at hand. Last time I checked this wiki is still unable to display the imported pages properly. If I really was hiding behind an IP, I'd be using a proxy. You can't blame me for not taking the effort to register here as my only request is to take down this wiki entirely. If you still have some dignity left, at least do the right thing. These "wiki wars" are plain stupid eitherway and you fail to realize how badly you've already lost. --07-06-2007

I'm not fighting a war. The old Anarchy Online wiki went down. Having recently returned to Anarchy Online, I was disappointed that there was no wiki so I created one. Shortly thereafter, Vhab created his. In the forums, Vhab has, repeatedly, misrpresented the truth. He has, repeatedly, made derogatory remarks. I could continue, but I won't. I am not in a war. I created this wiki with the intent to enlighten others about Anarchy Online, since (at the time) there was no other wiki. I may discontinue this because I don't have time (for instance, I'm taking a block class that has a year of Spanish condensed down into 6 weeks of daily hours-long classes), but these personal assaults, these outright lies and fabrications will not cause me to move from my present position. You may believe that there is a war. Unlike you anonymous users, I have not vandalized the other wiki. Unlike Vhab and you anonymous posters, I have not lied or misrepresented the truth at all. Unlike you anonymous users, when I edit something, I'm "man enough" as the saying goes, to put my name on it and stand by it. Banaticus 08:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
